About
A Cornhill training course will commence in September 2009 in Belfast, following the pattern of the London and Glasgow Cornhill Training Courses.

What’s the course for?
The primary aim of the course is to train men to preach. Alongside this primary aim we train men and women to teach the Bible in youth and children’s work, women’s ministry and other contexts.
What would I learn?
The course aims to equip Christians to understand the Bible accurately, teach the Bible effectively and apply the Bible appropriately.
Who’s it for?
The Cornhill programme in Belfast is aimed particularly towards accessibility for churches across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, and teaching will be Monday–Thursday each week to allow weekend placements at a distance if required.
However, we welcome applications from anyone within these islands or abroad.
How long does it take?
The course runs for one academic year (30 teaching weeks) of full-time study, alongside a church placement for practical ministry experience and input. In future years we hope to be able to offer a part-time option, where students who are unable to take the course full-time would cover the material over two years, taking half the course in the first year and half the course in the second year.
